We will respond within one calendar month. Complex or numerous requests may be extended by up to two further months — we will tell you within the first month if that applies.
For data uploaded to the platform by your employer (walkaround checks, defect reports, risk scores, etc.) your employer is the data controller. Please direct your request to them in the first instance. Sentinel Fleet, as processor, will support them in fulfilling your request.
Where any processor stores or processes data outside the UK or EEA, we rely on UK International Data Transfer Agreements, the EU Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum, or other safeguards approved by the ICO.
We will notify the ICO within 72 hours of becoming aware of a personal data breach where it is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, and we will inform affected individuals without undue delay where the risk is high.
We are not required to appoint a statutory Data Protection Officer, but our Data Protection Lead is contactable at hello@sentinelfleetuk.co.uk.
